Joey Wheeler's gamble is back: Dark Time Wizard is here
Beyond the Brave is the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME core booster with its European release on October 8, 2026. Its 100 cards bring back the risky plays of Joey Wheeler, reimagine the Destiny HERO monsters of Aster Phoenix and add new strategies for every kind of Duelist.
Why you'll want it
- Dark Time Wizard, a Quick-Play Spell with two effects: it searches the cards that mention it, and its coin toss can wipe out your opponent's monsters and deal damage. Lose the toss, though, and it's your monsters that go.
- Destiny HERO, reimagined: new cards inspired by Aster Phoenix.
- Two more strategies: an ocean theme built around Atlantis and Daedalus, and Ashtra, a Trap theme with Synchro Monsters.
- Support for Endymion, Clown Crew and Predaplant decks.
- World premiere: Audhumla, Progenitor of the Frozen Expanse, also in extended art.
- Rarities: 10 Secret Rares, 14 Ultra Rares, 26 Super Rares and 50 Commons; 5 cards also as extended art Ultra Rares and Starlight Rares, and 20 more as Starlight Rares.
