Riftbound Radiance: release date, products and the cards to chase
Share
Radiance is the fifth Riftbound set and it arrives in English on 23 October 2026. It is all about performing at the peak of your powers, under the brightest lights. Here is what's in the set, which cards everyone will be chasing and which product to pick, depending on how you play.
Release date and Pre-Rift
- Release: 23 October 2026, in English, French and Simplified Chinese at the same time.
- Pre-Rift events in local game stores: 16–22 October 2026. The Pre-Rift Player Kit has 5 Radiance booster packs and a seeded Pre-Rift pack built around one of the nine new Legends.
- The Heimerdinger, Academy Instructor promo is handed out at Pre-Rift events while supplies last, so it is not guaranteed in the kits we sell.
What's in the set
- 180 cards, 66 of them Showcase.
- Nine new Legends, among them Seraphine, Evelynn, Ekko, Jarvan IV, Ziggs, K'Sante, Orianna and Neeko.
- Three new mechanics. Deploy lets you play gear directly to a battlefield, even one you don't control. Show Off gives an extra effect when you reveal a qualifying card from your hand. Disarm lowers the Might of an enemy unit on the same battlefield when a unit with Disarm attacks.
- Also new: Equipment Units and Bomb tokens.
The cards to chase
- Packed Amphitheater, the Ultimate Rare. It is only the second Ultimate Rare in Riftbound, and it appears in fewer than 0.025% of packs: about one in 4,000. That makes it rarer than Baron Nashor from Unleashed. No pack, box or case is guaranteed to have it.
- Overnumbered Legends. All nine new Legends have Overnumbered versions, some with the artist's signature.
- Special Alternate Art cards and Alternate Art Runes with a musical theme.
What's in each product
- Booster Box: 24 packs of 14 cards. Every pack has 7 Commons, 3 Uncommons, 1 foil (Common to Epic), 1 Rare or Epic, 1 slot that can hold a Rare, Epic, Alternate Art, Special Alternate Art, Overnumbered or Ultimate Rare card, and 1 token, Rune or Alternate Art Rune.
- Booster Pack: a single pack, the same 14 cards.
- Vault: a storage box with the Radiance artwork, 6 booster packs, the full set of 36 Runes and foil tokens.
- Pre-Rift Player Kit: 5 booster packs and 1 seeded Pre-Rift pack.
- Showdown Decks Evelynn vs Seraphine: two ready-to-play 56-card decks, one with Evelynn and one with Seraphine (Starry-Eyed Songstress), 2 booster packs, 2 full-size playmats and the rulebook.
Which one to pick
- New to Riftbound, or want to play with a friend right away: the Showdown Decks. Two decks, two playmats, nothing else needed.
- You already play and want the new cards for your decks: the Pre-Rift Player Kit or a few packs. Take the Vault if you also need Runes and a box for your cards.
- You chase Overnumbered Legends and the Ultimate Rare: the Booster Box. It has the most packs, so the most chances, at the lowest price per pack.
